Samut Prakan motorist killed in Phuket road accident
A driver was killed after he lost control of his vehicle near the Samkong Underpass on Bypass Road in Phuket and hit a power pole.
Phuket City Police were notified of the accident on Chalerm Phrakiet Rama 9 (Bypass Road), southbound, near the entrance of the Samkong Underpass at 1.12am on Friday.
Police and rescue workers arrived to find a damaged black Honda sedan. The body of Weerawat Sarakoo, 39, from Samut Prakan, was inside the vehicle.
Police say Weerasak lost control of his vehicle and collided with the side of the underpass and a power pole.
