First ever LGBT+ ‘family meeting’ called as partner bill debated

As a draft bill that would legalise same-sex civil partnerships is being considered by the National Legislative Assembly, a “family meeting” is being held by the activist group Love United Thailand on January 19.

The LGBT+Family Meeting #1, the first of its kind held in this country, will feature top-notch speakers on a panel discussing human rights and the law.

Among them are Assoc Professor Nattavud Pimpa, a human rights academic; marriage r;esearcher Chawinroj Terapachalaphon; legal expert Chakkraphong Duangjumphon and gay-couple celebrities Luke and Tae Cassady-Dorion.

TV host Apirak Apijitchaichot will moderate.
