Authorities re-erect power poles toppled by storm

Provincial Electricity Authority workers on Sunday got down to repairing 10 high-voltage power poles that had been toppled by tropical storm Pabuk on Friday (January 4) to restore power connection in three districts of Nakhon Si Thammarat province.

Once the broken power poles located along the Nakhon Si Thammarat-Pak Phanang Road are re-erected, electricity supply will be restored in the districts of Pak Phanang, Hua Sai and Muang, officials said.
