Half million meth pills found sitting on Chiang Rai roadside

Police and Army rangers found 588,000 methamphetamine pills abandoned on a border road in Chiang Rai’s Wiang Kaen district early Friday.

They were patrolling Highway 1155 linking Ban Pang Bor and Ban Nong Tao when they came across six fertiliser bags sitting at the roadside.
They proved to be packed with pills.
