Woman faints at station, falls onto Skytrain tracks

A woman passenger fainted while waiting for a BTS Skytrain at Ratchathewi station and fell onto the tracks on Wednesday morning, briefly disrupting services in both directions of the Sukhumvit line

BTS announced that the accident happened at 8.15am on the Samrong-bound track. Trains had to be stopped on both sides during the rescue of the woman.

At 8.17am, BTS announced through its Twitter page that the woman was safely lifted from the tracks and normal services had resumed.
