Teen girl saved from suicide jump in Phitsanulok

Muang Phitsanulok police staton was alerted at 8pm that a young girl was walking on the rooftop of Bangkok Phitsanulok Hospital in Muang district in apparent preparation to jump.

Police, rescuers of a local foundation and a crane were rushed to the scene.
Officials prepared an air cushion on the ground in case the girl jumped while an official went to talk to her.
The official managed to talk her get down from the rooftop at 9.15pm. The official said the girl is 13 years old and lives near the hospital. She had a dispute with her family and wanted to commit suicide due to depression, the official said.
Her family was contacted to pick her up after officials calmed her down and she had promised not to do it again.
