98,000 meth pills seized in Satun

Troops failed to catch a drugs mule but seized 98,000 methamphetamine pills in Satun's Mung Wa district on Thursday morning.

Soldiers at a road checkpoint in the district spotted a motorcyclist riding with a cloth bag so they signalled him to stop but the motorcyclist speeded through the checkpoint.
Troops then chased after him but he used shortcuts to disappear. They found the drugs bag about 6 kilometres away from the checkpoint.
