Construction contractor killed in house fire in Nakhon Pathom

The body of Prathuang Tanphet, 54, was found on the second floor of a house in Tambon Huay Jorake after the ground-floor fire was extinguished.
Police and firefighters were alerted at 2am.
The fire also damaged a motorcycle and spread to two nearby houses.
Prathuang was contracted to renovate the house and he stayed overnight in the property.
Neighbours told police they heard sounds a like an electrical short circuit before they saw the flames.
