Large haul of kratom found in Songkhla national park

Army troops, police and park officials have seized 1,180 kilograms of kratom (Mitragyna speciosa) leaves they found at a makeshift hut inside a national park in Songkhla on Thursday evening.

The officials came across the hut and the drug while inspecting the Khao Nam Khang National Park in Moo 6 village in Tambon Samank Taew in Sadao district at 6pm.
The kratom leaves were discovered on the ground under the high-platform hut.
No one was found at the scene.
