Saku police responded to a report that Thomas Cook Airlines staff member, a 28-year-old Finnish woman, had died in her hotel room.
Police at the scene found the woman wearing only a black bra, but with no trace of physical attack, no sign of fighting or of any kind of struggle.
There was, however, vomit in the bin.
Her body was sent to Thalang Hospital and will be transferred to the Forensic Laboratory at Surat Thani Hospital. In the initial investigation hotel staff told police that Thomas Cook Airlines had rented the hotel for 11 cabin crew members from January 15–19.
The flight attendant’s co-workers told police that she drank a lot of Champagne the previous night with five Finnish friends before everyone went back to sleep. Police suspect that the woman might have fallen and hit her head on the floor.
