Temperature just 1C on Loei mountaintop

The northeastern province’s Meteorological Office reported low temperatures in in several parts of Loei.
It was 6C at the Phu Luang Wildlife Sanctuary, 7.5C in Phu Kradueng National Park and 10.5C in Phu Suan Sai National Park in Na Haew district.
Residents of several villages in Phu Rua and Dan Sai districts were gathering around fires to keep warm amid temperatures between 6C and 9C.
