Two women killed in Chon Buri hit and run

Two women riding a motorcycle were killed in Chon Buri on Thursday morning when a van speeding in the wrong lane struck them.

Police said the van driver fled the scene on None Mok-Nong Sak Road in Moo 1 village, Ban Bueng district.
The women were identified as Jariya Suksawaeng, 30, and Anchaleeporn Jampasri, 29.
Witnesses said the van driver had pulled into the oncoming traffic lane in an attempt to overtake another vehicle.
