Udon Thani pharmacist arrested for selling sedatives online

Provincial Police Bureau 4 commissioner Pol Lt-General Surachai Khundechakup held a press conference at the bureau to announce the arrest of Waraporn Kongchana, 31.
Surachai said officers from his bureau had recently arrested Waraporn after an undercover officer ordered Alprazolam medicine from her website.
Alprazolam is a sedative that has to be sold under a doctor's prescription.

Surachai said that after police received the package, they checked the parcel tracking number and found that it was sent from Srisook post office in Tambon Makkaeng in Udon Thani’s Muang district.
Police checked with the post office before making the arrest.
Surachai said 31,670 pills of several brands of strong sedatives were found at Waraporn’s house, including 175 packs of Valium 5mg, 20 bottles of Rivotril 2mg, two packs of Prenarpil 2mg, 96 10-pill packets of Anta 2mg, and 1,167 10-pill packets and 20 boxes of Allem 1.0mg.
Surachai said police checked Waraporn’s bank account and found that she has made more than Bt2 million selling illicit drugs recently.
