Parliament hangs portrait of King Rama X

Parliament officials on Wednesday replaced a portrait of HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej, who passed away last year, with that of HM King Maha Vajiralongkorn.

King Bhumibol’s portrait has been hanging in the main chamber of Parliament since its opening in 1975.
The late King was cremated on October 26 as part of a five-day Royal Cremation ceremony. The ceremony was televised and watched by people across the country.
