UK embassy seminar to facilitate match-making for smart city solutions

The Department for International Trade of the British Embassy in Bangkok will host a seminar and match-making programme for UK and Thai companies on “UK Capabilities in Sustainable Smart Cities” next Friday.

The seminar will run parallel with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society’s “Digital Thailand Big Bang 2017”.
The seminar will be held from 9.30am-5.30pm at Impact Muang Thong Thani.
The speaker at the seminar, Alan Fletcher from KMI Open University, will share his experiences on collaboration of best practices between countries for innovative solutions to support sustainable growth of cities.
The match-making programme is an opportunity to meet directly with each of the 15 UK companies that will be attending Digital Thailand Big Bang.
Panel discussions will include how to make the most out of Thailand’s huge tourism sector and how to help businesses predict trends and prepare for the future use of Internet of Things.
