Desperate couple dismantle house on ‘medium’s’ instructions

A couple in Kamphaeng Phet province have had their house dismantled in a search for the Iron Wood Tree that a medium has linked to a godly blessing for their son.

Jamruan Mukda, 44, and his wife ordered a backhoe truck to pull down their one-storey, two-bedroom house on Thursday because the medium says it is built on top of the tree of a benign nymph.
The couple’s son had been ill for a long time. But his conditions improved after at the suggestion of the medium, the parents started praying to Two Nagas and the Iron Wood Tree Nymph.

But even after the house was completely gone, and the excavator had created a hole eight metres wide and eight metres deep, the couple was still unable to find the Iron Wood Tree on their plot.
The couple is now waiting to further consult the medium.
Several locals have now gathered around the couple’s land plot in the hope of seeing lucky numbers for the upcoming lottery draw.
