King cobra terrifies woman after falling from home ceiling

Animal rescuers rushed to a house in Songkhla’s Na Thawee district on Monday morning after a four-metre-long king cobra fell from the kitchen’s ceiling, scaring a woman as she cooked food.

Animal rescuers took about 10 minutes to capture the snake.
Promkaew Thongprom, 63, the house owner, said he heard his wife scream and saw her running out of the kitchen.
He immediately asked a local animal rescue foundation for help.
