Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn humbly apologised to students and lecturers of Maejo University for being late for a graduation ceremony Saturday.

The Facebook page of Maejo University Radio published a video clip showing the Princess giving an apology, saying she was late because she fell down and suffered a great pain on the left side of her ribs.
From the video clip, the Princess on the bench of the chair of the ceremony was seen raising her hands and slightly bowed her head and said:
“I would like to offer my apology to all lecturers and graduating students for being late. I was late because I had an accident. I fell down on my left side and I am now suffering from a great pain on the ribs on my left side. But I’ll complete this task first. And then, I’ll go for an x-ray. I think my ribs were not broken but they might be cracked because It is very painful. Now, I do not want even to take a breath.”
