K2 Venture Capital launched to support startups

Loxley Friday has announced formation of K2 Venture Capital Company to invest in high potential startups to achieve long term goal of high returns. 

K2 Venture Capital is a joint-venture company between Loxbit and a Singaporean private equity fund TIH. 
    Initially, Loxbit and TIH will co-invest Bt150 million into the fund. The fund will be open to outside investors which would ultimately target raising up to Bt700 million in capital within the next 12 months.
    Vasant Chatikavanij, vice chairman of the Executive Board of Loxley, said that this year, the K2 fund aims to invest in five or six promising startups as well as early stage companies, which have  potential to be transformative on a societal or national level.
