Acharanat said he would not file any charges against motorcyclist Kittisak Singto, 25. The actor also apologised to Kittisak and the public over the November 4 incident, which was captured in a video clip that went viral and dealt a major blow to his career.
Yannawa deputy superintendent Pol Lt-Colonel Adirek Phanyai said an action against Kittisak’s alleged traffic violation of riding recklessly, damaging another’s property and fleeing the accident scene would still proceed even though Acharanat did not want to press charges.
Adirek said Kittisak had denied the charges, claiming he was hit first by a taxi, resulting in his motorcycle hitting the actor’s car.
