Happy Birthday Mama Lin Hui

Visitors to Chiang Mai Zoo and zoo authorities on Wednesday celebrated the 15 th birthday for Lin Hui who was offered fruit baskets filled with bamboo shoots.

  

Acting Chiang Mai Zoo director Wuttichai Muangmun, along with zoo staffs and her fanclub members organised a 15th birthday party for Lin Hui and handed her fruits baskets filled with bamboo shoots and leaves, apples, carrots, and grapes as birthday gifts.

 

Lin Hui and another panda; were offered ice birthday cake.

 

“Both Chuang Chuang and Lin Hiu were sent from China since 2003 as goodwill ambassadors. The male panda Chuang Chuang is now 16 years old and weigh 145 kilograms while the 15 year-old female panda Lin Hui weigh 135 kilograms which are considered healthy” he said.

 

Many panda fans joined the party and excitedly captured a moment together. Lin Hui produced a baby panda which is named Lin Ping in 2006. Lin Ping is now in China.
