Gallant Thailand, world No.13 and Asian bronze medallists, produced a fantastic come-from-behind 3-2 (16-25 25-19 25-21 20-25 15-13) victory over World Cup silver medallists Serbia to register their first win at the Montreux Volley Masters in Switzerland

Thailand will take on Serbia again this month when both teams will compete in the World Grand Prix Pool I Preliminaries (third week) in Kyoto, Japan on June 26.

Thailand, which were playing without powerful spiker Onuma Sittirak on Thursday, are due to go up against the Netherlands, to whom they lost in straight sets at the recent World Olympic Qualification Tournament in Japan, on Thursday night (at 02.15am Friday, Bkk time).
