Call to lower power usage

The National Reform Steering Assembly (NRSA)’s energy reform panel has organised an exhibition to call on the public to save electricity to lower peak power demand this summer.

NRSA President Tinnapan Nakata yesterday presided over the launch of the exhibition, which will be held at Parliament’s hall until Friday.
The chairman of the NRSA committee on energy affairs, Kurujit Nakornthap, said peak demand reached 28,351 megawatts last Tuesday – which broke the record for the second time in 2016 following the April 6 record of 27,638 megawatts.
