Koh Tarutao park denies allowing resort to be built on sea surface
The chief of Koh Taturutao National Marine Park Wednesday dismissed a report widely shared on Facebook that the park had allowed a resort to be built on Koh Lipe’s sea like Maldives resorts.
Panapol Chiwaserichol, the chief of Koh Tarutao park, warned tourists not to believe the report as they might fall victims of a con group that might lure them to pay to book the resort.
The report claimed that the resort had already been approved the sports and tourism minister and its rooms had already been booked throughout this year.
Panapol said the Lipe island had never had a resort built on the sea so the report might be used to con tourists.
