“The market for our green tea is stable despite the country’s economic deceleration and the decreasing purchasing power of consumers. The “Oishi Trip Sud O Go Japan” campaign has as its theme “Fin Hima Krajai Kap 12 Chao Chai Nai Fun” meaning “enjoy snow with 12 prince charmings.”
The actors in the 12-part series, which was based on the love stories of 12 hot ambassadors of IUCA University, are Puttichai “Put” Kasetsin (“Handsome Cowboy”); Chutavudh “March” Pattarakampol (“Ambitious Boss”); Vorakorn “Kang” Sirisorn (“Gentle Vet”); Jirakit “Mek” Thawornwong (“Foxy Pilot”); Nawat “White” Phumphothi (“Playful Comm-Arts”); Chonlathorn “Captain” Kongyingyong (“Extroverted Humanist”); Isariya “Hunz” Patharamanop (“Absolute Economist”); Nontanan “Kacha” Anchuleepradit (“Lovely Geologist”); Chatchawit “Victor” Techarukpong (“Badass Baker”); Kunchanuj “Kun” Kengkarnka (“Crazy Artist”); Thanat “Lee” Lowkhunsombat (“Badly Politics”); and Vachiravit “August” Paisarnkulwong (“Single Lawyer”).
“The trip will be great fun. Fans will get to sit beside one of us on the plane, and get a hug to warm them up if they feel cold. We aren’t afraid of being lost in Japan because Kang Vorakorn can speak Japanese,” Puttichai says.
Oishi has invested Bt150 million in targeting a group of young people through traditional and digital media and digital channels through which fans can vote for their favourite prince.
The company is also holding a road show with the 12 actors taking it in turns to appear inside a winter snow globe. Puttichai will take the globe first.
