TrueVisions believes its six new channels will cement its subscription TV position

TrueVisions announced at a news conference on Tuesday the six channels from leading international studios – Warner TV HD, Sony Channel HD, Paramount Channel HD, Fox Action Movies HD, Celestial Classic Movies and Food Network HD. Altogether, they bring all movie genres and a great variety of exciting and interesting programs to further complement the existing line-up.

Striving to fulfill this policy, TrueVisions has continuously obtained exclusive rights of premium programs from around the world with as many as 54 HD channels to date, he added.
In line with the on-going service improvement, the company has also applied new technology to suit viewers with changing lifestyles and personal needs, enabling them to watch their favorite programs at different times and at their convenience. According to the executives, the convergence within the True Group of companies has greatly facilitated viewing on demand – both on TV screens and via TrueVision Anywhere application on smart phones and tablets. “As for the six new channels, we’ve received positive feedbacks, and the ratings has steadily increased. Still, we will keep adding more contents to further satisfy all viewer groups,” Suphakit added.

“Thai viewers can watch hit series on Warner TV HD on the same day as the viewers in the United States, and the same goes with the popular series and reality shows on Sony Channel HD,” Birathon said.
TrueVisions' new lineup is also meant to give subscribers full enjoyment of blockbusters and critically-acclaimed films by Paramount Pictures and DreamWorks studios. Fans of action-packed flicks will enjoy around-the-clock action blockbusters on Fox Action Movies HD, the executives said. As for Chinese film lovers, they can tune in Celestial Classic Movies HD channel and enjoy masterpieces by the legendary studio, Shaw Brothers, he said.
In addition to the great movie variety, TrueVisions is adding lifestyle contents through the US’ Food Network HD channel, which features food and cooking linking with lifestyles of foodies and culinary lovers, he explained.
The new line-up reaffirms TrueVisions’ position as the center of world-class entertainment that seeks to satisfy everyone in a family. The company considers its greater variety of contents to be unrivaled as it includes movies, sports and documentary from Fox, world’s top documentaries from Discovery, the US renowned documentaries from History Channel, top quality children’s programs from Disney as well as sports programs by Asia’s largest sport program right holder BeIN, he added.

TrueVisions said the installation fee is waived for new subscribers for TrueVisions’ best packages – Platinum and Gold. They will also enjoy a 50 per cent discount on guarantee fee, usually at Bt2,000. The new subscribers also receive free-of-charge True Anywhere service until December 31 2017.
