Waewkanee Assoratgoon, general manager of KFC Thailand, operated by Yum Restaurants International (Thailand), said: “The new look of KFC at Future Park Rangsit is a pioneer in our plan to revamp the look to create a new experience that responds to [customers’] needs and lifestyles.
“The service process has been improved to offer customers quicker services. The flow in the kitchen and at the cashier counter has also been changed to increase efficiency and reduce waiting time. The SOP [Speed Up Ordering Process] system allows KFC to service 83 customers per hour, while the current system can only serve 41 customers per hour. They can order at the cashier and wait for their food at the pick-up counter.
“The new concept responds to the new lifestyles of customers, especially the ‘Gen Y’ customers who [are] on the go and like to hang out with friends in places with Wi-Fi, to stay connected throughout the day on their smartphones. They like to search, chat, share, and comment on places, food, and experience on social media.
“Another highlight of this branch during the grand-opening period is free soft-drink refills.
“In addition to the free Wi-Fi, KFC also provides electrical sockets for customers,” she said
KFC at Future Park Rangsit also has a private section for customers who want some privacy for a meeting or private party.
