Last day of Silom road closure for Songkran
Today, April 14, marks the final day of the Silom Road closure for Songkran activities. Those interested should hurry and bring their water guns to join in the fun!
Yesterday, Thai and foreign tourists joined the Songkran festivities in large numbers on Silom Road, which was closed off to allow tourists to fully participate in the water splashing festival.
Police officers have been deployed to ensure safety, and there are announcements informing tourists that water play would be allowed until 8pm today after which the street would be cleaned by municipal staff, for normal traffic to resume tomorrow.
