In love with Tanabata
Yamazato, the Japanese restaurant at The Okura Prestige Bangkok, marks the Tanabata Festival – one of Asia’s most romantic tales – with a new Gozen set lunch (Bt850) and a seven-course set Kaiseki dinner from June 29 to July 12. Tanabata Festival, also known as the “Star Festival of the Weaver”, celebrates a Japanese love story about the weaving princess Orihime and her love for Hikoboshi. Legend states that Orihime and Hikoboshi may only meet once a year on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month. Call (02) 687 9000 or e-mail:
