The crime involved an 18-year-old student, Kosolwat Intuchanyong, the deputy spokesperson for the Office of the Attorney General, said today (August 22).
The prosecutor of the Bangkok South Criminal Court, Patchara Isaraporn, informed Kosolwat on August 10 of the verdict in the case brought by the District Public Prosecutor's Office, which filed charges against Prinn and found him guilty.
The Southern Bangkok Criminal Court has scheduled a hearing on September 25 in another case involving Prinn, in which he is charged with deceiving and sexually harassing another young woman. Other cases are still under investigation, Kosolwat said.
