“The event aims to stimulate the economy and tourism,” DIT director-general Wattanasak Sur-iam said on Saturday.
The market on Muang district’s Walking Street will feature stalls selling local goods, music shows, cultural performances and, of course, a water-splashing party.
“Visitors can also pay respects to sacred Buddha statues and relics at the event,” he added.
