This number has dropped from about 29 patients hospitalised per day during the previous week, the Department of Disease Control (DDC) announced on Monday.
The DDC website said that 147 Covid-19 patients had been hospitalised from February 26 to March 4, compared to 203 patients the week before.
Since January 1, Thailand has seen 4,263 Covid patients being hospitalised, the DDC said.
Over the past week, seven patients succumbed to the virus, compared to eight in the previous week, figures show.
Since January 1, the total Covid death toll in the country comes in at 249, the DDC said.
Currently, 62 Covid patients are being treated for lung inflammation, while 42 are on ventilators.
As of March 4, Thailand has administered 144.871 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines, of which 57.226 million are first jabs, 53.719 million second jabs and 33.926 million boosters.
