Stations of the Cross
The Roman Catholic community in Chanthaburi holds the traditional Good Friday ceremony, Way of the Cross at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception this Friday starting at 5pm.
This annual rite marks and commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his death at Calvary.
An uphill battle
Phu Kradueng National Park in Loei will play host to a trail running competition on May 4. The runners will complete 9 kilometres of nature terrain, 5.5km of which involve up-hill running. With peaks 1,316 metres above the sea level, Phu Kradueng National Park is famous with young campers who negotiate the high paths to pitch their tents in the pine forest on the top of the mountain.
