Mae Sot gets connected
Nok Air links Mae Sot on the Thai border to two Myanmar cities - Mawlamyine and Yangon - with the introduction of two new routes.
The Mae Sot-Mawlamyine route will start from September 1 while Mae Sot-Yangon flight is scheduled to commence operations in October. Tucked away in the country’s southeast, Mawlamyine is the capital of Mon State and is famous for the Golden Rock at Mt Kyaiktiyo. Seafood sensations not to miss
Cha-Am Beach, in Phetchaburi province, once again plays host to the much-loved seafood festival – “Kin Hoy Duu Nok Took Muak” – from September 13 -22. Freshly fished mussels, oysters, lobster, squid and red snapper are offered in a variety of dishes – often simply steamed with herbs or pan-fried – guaranteeing you will eat more than you deserve!. The fast and the furious

In Bangkok, the Legend of Chao Phrya Boat Race will take place this Saturday and Sunday under Rama VIII Bridge before moving to Phichit (September 6-8), Phitsanulok (September 21-22) and Nan (September 21-22).
