After singing the Vietnamese national anthem in unison, the groups of students enthusiastically begin their lessons, which include writing practice, learning to spell, reading poetry, or studying Vietnamese through traditional Vietnamese songs.

Prime Minister Hun Manet has reiterated that no foreign language will replace Khmer as the national language in Cambodia's education system. He further encouraged the strengthening of foundational knowledge of the Khmer language from early education levels.
