Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Pichai Chunhavajira has denied any involvement in the controversy surrounding Dew Arissara Thongborisut, the famous singer and actress accused of borrowing items worth 62 million baht from renowned businesswoman May Wassana Inthasang and failing to return them.

Eighty-five tourists experienced some scary moments when the anchor rope on their 2-storey tour boat ruptured, leaving them stranded for more than 20 minutes in front of the Emerald Cave (Tham Morakot). All were wearing life vests.
