Yumika Adachi was a runaway winner in the third edition of the US$200,000 Yumeya Dream Cup, winning the event by seven strokes.

The Japanese shot a 3-under 69 for a three-day total of 210 at the Hirao Country Club, a course with which she has a love-hate relationship. Adachi hated the course after missing the cut last year.
“Today, I’ll cherish this win, which is my first. I started to love this course. I was angry at myself after missing the cut last year. I wanted to take sweet revenge over the course and I’m glad that I achieved it with my first professional win,” she said.
Another Japanese player, Orie Fujino, finished sole second on 217. “I did not play well today. My 73 was not what I had expected after scoring a 70 yesterday. Nevertheless, I’m happy to play bridesmaid,” she said.
Tied for third place are Chinese Taipei’s Lin Tzu-Chi; Japan’s Mika Takushima and Rungthiwa Pangjan of Thailand.
Rungthiwa said her third place was unexpected. “I was not in good form,” she said.
