Ratchaprasong: Home of the Gods

Ratchaprasong intersection in Bangkok's Pathumwan district is said to be protected by eight Hindu gods and goddesses.

Shrines to these gods and goddesses were placed at hotels, offices and shopping malls located near the intersection under a belief that the area was cursed.
