The Government Housing Bank (GH Bank) has donated cardiac massage and patient resuscitation machines to Phramongkutklao Hospital to commemorate His Majesty the King’s 6th Cycle birthday on July 28.

The machines were delivered on July 24 under the bank’s charity project titled, "GH Bank Project to Support Heart Massage and Patient Resuscitation Machines for Phramongkutklao Hospital".

GH Bank Managing Director Kamonpop Weerapala said that the bank funded the purchase of the cardiac massage and patient resuscitation machines.

The move, he said, was also intended to express loyalty and gratitude to His Majesty the King by following the royal example of supporting medical institutions.

According to the bank statement, three cardiac massage and patient resuscitation machines, valued at 2.55 million baht, had been delivered to Phramongkutklao Hospital. Maj-General Thamrongroj Temudom, the hospital’s director, received the donation.

In addition to following His Majesty the King’s lead in supporting the country’s healthcare and medical services, the bank aims to provide more efficient treatment for a large number of emergency patients.

As a state-owned financial institution under the Ministry of Finance, with a mission of "making Thai people own their homes", the bank has supported over 4.4 million Thai families to become homeowners in its 70-year history. Alongside its core housing loans business, the bank has also implemented policies focused on social responsibility and environmental stewardship.
