The daily flight departs from U-Tapao at 11.25am and arrives in Ho Chi Minh City at 12.55pm. The return flight takes off from Ho Chi Minh City at 13.25pm and arrives in U-Tapao at 14.40pm.
To celebrate the new route, more than 100,000 “super-saving” tickets priced from just Bt0 (excluding taxes and fees) will be given away for four days starting on Monday until December 5, the company said.
The Bt0 promotional tickets will be for all Thai Vietjet routes from Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) to Vietnam’s Dalat, Da Nang, and Taichung in Taiwan, Pattaya (U-Tapao International Airport) to Ho Chi Minh City, as well as all domestic routes from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phuket, Krabi, Udon Thani, Phuket.
Booking time is between 12 noon and 2pm from Monday to December 5 for Travel from December 23, 2019, to October 24, 2020 (excluding public holidays).
Under the slogan “Fly Vietnam, Fly Vietjet”, the new service is expected to stimulate further direct traffic between Rayong, Pattaya and Ho Chi Minh City, especially for travellers from south Vietnam, the airline added.
