Singapore PM posts images to mark his visit to Thailand

Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong posted an X message with images of Wat Arun, Thai students and Chiang Mai golden tigress Ava to mark his arrival in Thailand on Thursday.

Earlier Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra had welcomed her counterpart and his wife at Government House in Bangkok at the start of his official visit to Thailand since he became PM in May this year.

“Just arrived in Bangkok! I am here on my introductory visit to Thailand. Looking forward to engaging Thai leaders to strengthen the bilateral partnership, ahead of the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations next year,” the post read.

The Singaporean PM’s post received 229 likes, 15 comments and 47 shares as of press time. Some netizens advised him to try some street foods and enjoy the nice weather in Thailand.
