At least one worker killed in factory collapse in Prachin Buri
An auto parts factory in Prachin Buri’s Si Maha Phot district collapsed on Monday morning, killing at least one worker and trapping four others under a concrete floor.
Rescue workers and officials from relevant agencies rushed to the scene after learning that the second floor of the factory, located within Industrial Estate 304, had collapsed onto the ground floor, trapping five workers at around 10 a.m.
Rescue teams recovered one body from beneath the concrete slab and were working to free the remaining four workers at the time of reporting.
The cause of the collapse remains unknown.
