Keep NACC commissioner ‘S’ off my cases, Surachate allegedly demands

Pol General Surachate “Big Joke” Hakparn, who has been suspended as deputy National Police chief, reportedly called on the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) to not let a certain commissioner have a say in his cases.

On Monday, Surachate did not confirm or deny the authenticity of the so-called complaint, which has been doing the rounds on social media.

The alleged complaint says that a certain NACC commissioner, whose name starts with an “S”, has personal conflicts with him and should be kept away from his cases. Full names in the so-called document have been blacked out.

In the document, Surachate allegedly accuses the commissioner with the “S” initial of being unqualified for the job, even though Surachate had supposedly got him the job by lobbying with a general with the initial “P”, who was a deputy PM in the previous government.

The document then says that the person with the “S” initial had promised to repay the favour to both General “P” and Surachate.

However, the so-called complaint said, a series of complaints had been filed against this “S” commissioner, which he blamed on a NACC permanent official and asked Surachate to sort it out.

When Surachate reportedly said there was no evidence against the permanent official in question, the commissioner got angry and threatened to prosecute Surachate in any complaint filed against him with the NACC.

The so-called complaint also asked the NACC to send the matter to the Parliament president, so he can get the Senate to review the qualifications of the “S” initial commissioner.
