Covid cases and related deaths continue to surge in Thailand

The Ministry of Public Health on Sunday morning reported a new high of 15,335 Covid-19 cases and 129 deaths over a 24-hour period.

Of those who tested positive, 641 were found in prisons.

Meanwhile, 6,904 patients were cured and allowed to leave hospitals.

Cumulative cases in the country increased to 497,302, while the death toll rose to 4,059.
