'No Covid-19 cases in Rayong, Bangkok' after over 6,000 people tested

There are no Covid-19 cases in Bangkok and Rayong, after two foreign cases were announced on Monday (July 13), the Public Health Ministry informed on Sunday morning (July 18).

Dr Suwanchai Wattanayingcharoenchai, Department of Disease Control director-general, said that a total of 6,051 people had been tested from July 14 to July 17, and 4,781 persons were proved to be free from the virus, while 1,270 cases were awaiting results.
On July 14, the ministry said 1,603 people had tested negative -- 1,336 in Rayong and 267 in Bangkok.
On July 15, 1,252 people had tested negative in Rayong.
On July 16, 1,244 had tested negative in Rayong and 97 in Bangkok.
On July 17, 104 of 1,374 people who had tested were negative while the results of 1,270 others were awaited.
