To prepare for the opening of a new semester on July 1 and ensure that students will be safe from contracting Covid-19, the Public Health and Education ministries have set up strict preventive guidelines for all educational institutions.

After opening for a new semester, students must wear face masks and have their temperature measured before entering school.
They will be made to maintain social distancing while learning or carrying out other activities. If any student is found to have virus symptoms, the school must make him/her take sick leave and immediately inform public health authorities in the area.
Schools must also set up hand-sanitising checkpoints and undertake regular cleaning of door knobs, toilets and playgrounds.
