The Muay Thai Association and the Sports Authority of Thailand held a meeting on Saturday for more than three hours to review the Covid-19 situation in Thailand, which is getting better.
According to the plan by the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA), the boxing industry is scheduled to restart fights from June 15 in a closed area.
The committee has no objections if the boxing industry allows competitions within June 15, according to the master plan of the CCSA. The return to normal is divided into three phases: closed boxing area in the first phase; restricted viewers in the second phase, and normal operations in the third phase.
The first phase must follow five precautions at all times: wearing of masks, washing hands frequently, distance of1-2 metres between people, regularly clean the place, and restrict people in the area.
