In the South, there will be continuous rainfall and isolated heavy rain. Wind and thunderstorms are expected to whip up over 2-metre waves in the Andaman Sea so boats should not venture out, while all vessels must proceed with caution, the department advised.

Southern region (west coast): Thundershowers in 40 per cent of the area with isolated heavy rain; temperature lows of 23-27 degrees, highs of 33-36 degree Celsius; waves 2 metres high and more than 2 metres during thundershowers.
Bangkok and surrounding areas: Hot with thundershowers in 30 per cent of the area; temperature lows of 28-29 degrees, highs of 34-37 degrees Celsius.
