Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Engineering launched “CU-RoboCovid” on Wednesday (April 8) to help doctors and nurses who are in the frontline of the battle against Covid-19.

The new robot was created to help doctors reduce their risk of infection, ease their workload and boost the efficiency of caretakers.

The robot was developed in cooperation with Mi Workspace, HG Robotics and Obodroid.
The group had previously created the “Pinto” and “Ninja” robots to help in the battle against the virus.

The Pinto robot is used to deliver food or medical supplies, while Ninja is connected to monitors that can send information about the patient’s blood pressure, pulse, temperature etc directly to the doctor.
