Mild quake reported in Loei province
A mild 3.8-magnitude earthquake was reported at a depth of 5 kilometres on Wednesday (October 16) in the Muang district of Loei province in Northeast Thailand.
The Earthquake Observation Division of the Thai Meteorological Department said the quake happened at 12.36am.
The division reported that the quake could be felt by locals for a short time, but there have been no reports of damaged buildings or casualties so far. The Meteorological Department said it would update the situation on its website: http://www.earthquake.tmd.go.th/home.php
